Southern born and bred, Margie Trembley is a native of Arkansas and a true Southerner who transferred to Omaha, Nebraska in the 80s. She joined The Milliners Guild to interact with other milliners in the NY area. She is a couture milliner, having studied with some of the top international award winning instructors, including Biliana Borissova, Edwina Ibbotson, Eugenie van Oirschot and Lina Stein and nationally with Laura Hubka, Wayne Wichern, Laura Whitlock and Lady Linda Crawford. She has been designing and creating hats since 2011.
Margie attended the Kentucky Derby twice and participated in the Kentucky Oaks Fashion contest both times. Her work has been featured in Vogue, NBC Sports, Churchill Downs, ABC, a UK TV affiliate station and various other publications.
Margie is passionate about quality and the processes of creating extraordinary styles, but loves to design everyday hats as well. She owns her own millinery shop, Margie Trembley Chapeaux and an art gallery, Springfield Artworks in the small historic town of Springfield in the Omaha, NE metro area. She participated in Omaha Fashion Week for three seasons and still participates in some of their activities.
