The Found Generation Millinery was started by Pittsburgh native Liz Douglas in the Fall of 2020. What began as a general intrigue and appreciation for vintage headwear turned into a fascination for the craft itself and a desire to create her own unique pieces.

After taking a millinery course to learn the traditional blocking techniques, she put her new knowledge to work and began creating different styles and challenging herself with bold designs.

She is happy to present styles that are inspired by various authors, books, characters and her own whimsical notions. When choosing a hat for yourself, remember there is no limit to the imagination. A hat can reflect your personality -- it can be as classic and subtle or as bold and boisterous as you want it to be!
