I obtained my Master of Architecture from University of Western Australia and worked in architectural and interior design companies for about a decade. However, I always wanted to pursue my passion in the fashion world.
Since I was a child, I loved making outfits and headpieces for my dolls and later expanded to create girls with fashionable outfits in my paintings.
I was always fascinated by artistic presentations and fashion in races around the world. After I participated at a few races, I decided to enter the fashion contests as well. The hat that I made for the “Most Elegant Woman Fashion Contest of the NY Belmont Stakes” caught the judges' eyes and they chose me as the final winner. The thrill of winning was the highlight of my millinery venture until then!
I started taking millinery more seriously in my quarantine life during the COVID, after taking some online millinery classes with three members of the Milliners Guild (Laura Del Villaggio, Katie Props-Allen and Lisa Shaub).
Later I enrolled at FIT for their millinery course and learned basic and advanced millinery skills.
I was born in Iran, educated in Australia, and currently live in Boston with my husband. I designed our attic as my millinery studio.
